Siberian Chiffchaff still singing

At least one Siberian Chiffchaff present again this morning opposite the Sewage Works from The Reed Bed Walk. The bird can be easy to pick up especially if it is singing.

The adult male Hen Harrier hunting in fields early this morning from the Ron Baker Hide. Ten Common Buzzard, Peregrine and late on Merlin.

Waders included 74 Avocet, 74 Oystercatcher, 70+ Ruff inc breed plumage male, 43 Black-tailed Godwit, 45 Curlew, 150+ Lapwing, 6 Redshank, 2 Ringed Plover and 4 Common Snipe.

An adult breeding plumage pair of Mediterranean Gull and a 1st summer bird with Black-headed Gulls on the Mere late afternoon.

At least 3 Common Chiffchaff singing along the Nature Trail. Over 60 Pied Wagtail at the Sewage Works. Little Grebe on pools along the Reed Bed Walk, also Water Rail calling there. Grey Partridge singing off Marsh Moss Lane.
