Skylarks

Big movement of passerines this morning. Difficult to assess numbers passing south but a conservative estimate of 500+ Skylark is probably understated. Other species were involved including Meadow Pipits, Wagtails, Jays and at least one Great Spotted Woodpecker.

Plenty of Pink's, although most birds are out feeding locally during the middle part of the day. Small numbers of Whooper still.

Raptors included 2 Marsh Harrier, 2 Peregrine, 3 Common Buzzard and 2 Kestrel.

Kingfisher again today.
