Barn Owl hunting this morning 10am. A difficult few days for this species which would prefer hunting in calm and dry conditions. Three Marsh Harrier seen today, Peregrine, 2+ Common Buzzard and Sparrowhawk.
A couple of Dunlin and 5 Black-tailed Godwit were new in. More well grown Ringed Plover and Redhank chicks seen around the reserve.
Notable that many of the drake ducks present are now moulting into their eclipsed plumage.
