A good day for waders with 11 species being recorded on site, the best being a Greenshank, other species were 2 Green Sandpiper, 2 Common Sandpiper, at least 188 Black tailed Godwit, 4 Ruff, Oystercatcher, Redshank, Ringed Plover, Lapwing, Avocet and Curlew all from Ron Barker hide.
At least 3 Marsh Harriers were reported today and just off site along Curlew Lane there are currently 2 Cuckoo being seen regularly in the tall trees at the moment, also Corn Bunting and Red legged Partridge are easy to see here.
