More new birds in with 4 Dunlin (3 adult and the seasons first juvenile), 230 Black-tailed Godwit, 4+ Little Ringed Plover, 2 Ringed Plover, 300+ Lapwing, 6+ Oystercatcher, 2 Avocet and 12 Ruff. The birds roam around when flushed by raptors but most activity is from the UU Hide or Ron Barker.

Two adult and two juvenile Common Tern on Woodend Marsh are most likely our successful breeding birds. Common Tern showed well feeding in the brook opposite the Ron Barker Hide.

The 'usual' raptors with Marsh Harrier, 4+ Common Buzzard, 2 Kestrel and Sparrowhawk.

For a short while around midday juvenile Blackbird, Song Thrush and Mistle Thrush were all sun bathing together near the feeders close to the in focus shop. This basking behaviour is thought to dislodge parasites.

More insects on the wing with reports of Southern Hawker, Emerald Damselfly and Gate Keeper.
