Waders and Wagtails

More signs of autumn passage and the outlook looks good for the next few days. Reports from late afternoon included Spotted Redshank which would be new in and Curlew Sandpiper from the Ron Barker. Four Hundred Lapwing, 25 Ruff, 18 Black-tailed Godwit, 50+ Common Snipe, Dunlin, Redshank and Green Sandpiper.

A few wagtails on the move with 2 Grey and one Yellow Wagtail.

At least 170 Pink-footed Geese with birds coming in high from the North, 400+ Greylag and 50+ Canada.

The usual raptors with 2+ Marsh Harrier, Peregrine which was seen to take a pigeon, 4 Common Buzzard, Sparrowhawk and Kestrel.
