A record count of 46 European White-fronted Goose was the highlight of the day, the birds spent most of the day around the Mere showing well alongside Pink footed and Greylag Geese. The ringtail Hen Harrier was seen again along with at least 3 Marsh Harrier and 2 adult Peregrine. Up to 60 Ruff are still present with c1000 Lapwing, but no sign of any Golden Plover today or any reported sightings of the Green winged Teal.

The Willow Tit was seen again from Janet Kear Hide around the feeding station, and good numbers of Tree Sparrows are easy to see at some of the many feeding stations on site.
