Our brand-new shepherd’s huts are ready to welcome guests, but nature takes its time. While the huts themselves are perfect, the meadow around them is still finding its wild beauty. As a thank you for embracing the wild as it unfolds, we’re offering a special introductory rate:

  • £100 per night (weekday or weekend) for our cosy two-berth huts
  • £125 per night (weekday or weekend) for our comfy four-berth huts

This offer is available for stays between 11th April 2025 – 31st May 2025. Be among the first to experience Warblers’ Meadow and watch nature work its magic.

A minimum two-night stay applies during weekdays; a minimum three-night stay applies at the weekends. Prices include entry to WWT Slimbridge for the duration of your visit.

Meet the huts

Each of our five shepherd’s huts is named after a warbler species found at Slimbridge and offers a private pond and mini wetland just outside the door, providing a peaceful, nature-filled retreat.

Wake up to the dawn chorus, sip coffee on your private deck while dragonflies dance across the water and moorhens glide gracefully in and out of the reeds. Daydream whilst butterflies flutter by or a kingfisher dives in for lunch, and enjoy a nightcap with – maybe – a secretive fox or deer for company. If you're bringing young children, please be mindful of the open water nearby.

Blackcap, Cetti’s Warbler and Chiffchaff

A cosy and comfortable hideaway for two, our two berth shepherd’s huts are perfect for couples looking for a short break in the Cotswolds.

Sedge Warbler

Perfect for families, two couples or couples wanting some extra space, Sedge Warbler is a spacious retreat where you can share the experience of nature while still enjoying a little privacy. With two cosy double sleeping areas separated by a central kitchenette and bathroom, it’s designed for comfort and connection.

Reed Warbler

This shepherd’s hut ensures that everyone can experience the joy of Warblers' Meadow. Thoughtfully designed with a wheelchair-friendly ramp and step-free access, this hut also has a wide doorway for easier entry. While some limited walking is needed inside, it provides a welcoming and comfortable retreat for those with reduced mobility.
