Whether you’re looking to meet new people, learn new skills or spend time in an inspiring environment - there’s a volunteer role for you at Slimbridge Wetland Centre.
Thanks to support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we have been able to develop eight new exciting and immersive wildlife experiences to help visitors get even closer to nature and as WWT turns 75, it is an exciting time to volunteer with us!
We're looking for volunteers to help with a variety of roles from welcoming visitors to the centre, leading tours of Scott House Museum to guiding visitors through our new exhibits. We also have lots of other volunteering opportunities from working behind the scenes with our Aviculture team to providing excellent customer care in our gift shop.
Living Collections Presentations Support is just one of the volunteering opportunities we have available
Volunteers from all walks of life are welcome to apply, and the flexible volunteer opportunities available range from regular commitments to just a few hours and can be adapted to suit your circumstances.
Just a few hours spent volunteering can make a world of difference!
