Discover what Slimbridge means to you this February Half Term!

Spring is almost here and we have lots of fun activities for all the family, so get your wellies on and escape to our wetlands this Half Term (19 - 27 February).

Puddle Jumping Championships

Grab your wellies and waterproofs for a wild time at our wetlands. Our Puddle Jumping Championships are the perfect rainy day activity for all the family, but who will make the biggest splash? Perfect your splash to be the Puddle Jumping Champion and win a prize, competitions take place daily at 2pm in Welly Boot Land.

Top tips include: Jumping high and splashing like a majestic swan, make some moves like a crazy crane dancing to impress or have fun like ducklings splashing around in water! Find out more.

Sandbox

iSandbox uses augmented reality to take a traditional sandpit to magical new proportions. Stimulate the senses with our Wetlands Interactive Sandbox and see what landscapes you can create. Head to the Rain Garden for daily sessions throughout Half Term at 11am-12.30pm and 2-3.30pm. Make oceans swirl, lava flow and grass grow!

Wetland Heroes app

Try out our family friendly app, Wetland Heroes and discover the full extent of Slimbridge this February. Experience Slimbridge like never before by going on fact finding missions and taking on fun challenges suitable for the whole family. Tried it before? Craft activities

Throughout Half Term join us outside the cinema for free colouring activities with a puddle theme! Also between 11am and 12.30pm we'll have a special pebble painting craft activity.

Explore Arctic Adventure and Mission Possible

Become a real life adventurer at our Arctic Tundra. Plan a Tundra hut meal or try out bird watching with our binoculars - see if you can identify the birds by looking at their identification leg rings.
