Work Experience

We are pleased to offer a limited number of work experience placements each year within the following departments: Customer Service and Hospitality, Grounds – Horticulture, Learning and Engagement Living Collections - Presentations, Reserves, and Scott House Museum.

The application deadline for placements in 2025 is Friday 20th December 2024.

Please note that for Customer Service/Hospitality, Grounds – Horticulture, Learning and Engagement, Reserves and Scott House and, work experience students must be over 14 years old and placements last one week only (Monday – Friday).

For Living Collections – Presentations, placements run between March-October only. Work experience students must be at least 16 years old and be able to commit to 1 or 2 weeks (Monday – Friday). An interview will form part of the selection process.
