Evening with the Swans
Experience the beautiful sight and soundscape of hundreds of wild swans on the floodlit Rushy Lake, before enjoying a delicious two course meal in our Kingfisher Kitchen.
This is a truly exceptional event perfect for wildlife lovers. Winter migration brings rare beauties to Slimbridge each year including the enchanting Bewick's swan from the tundra in Arctic Russia.

Meeting Point: Swan Café
If you're already on site, please make your way to the Swan Café (next to the admissions area upstairs) when the site is closed. If arriving for 5pm, then please enter via admissions.
Our evening commences with a glass of Buck’s Fizz and canapés in the Swan Café, where you can enjoy The Flight of the Swans film.
From 5.30pm you will be guided down to our Peng Observatory where our experienced Reserve Wardens will provide full audio commentary throughout the wild bird feed, describing the impressive journey each species makes to reach Slimbridge, its winter home.
From 6.30pm, following the bird feeding spectacle, guests will head to the Kingfisher Kitchen to enjoy a sumptuous two course meal.

Terms & conditions
· Your ticket is for our Evenings with the Swans event only. If you plan to spend time at the centre in the day, you will need to purchase entry to Slimbridge Wetland Centre separately.
· Payment must be made at the time of booking.
· All tickets are non-refundable and can only be redeemed on the date specified in your booking.
· Please arrive at the Swan Cafe at 5pm for the event. If you’re able to contact us to let us know that you will be late, please do so, so that we can do our best to accommodate you.
· WWT Slimbridge reserves the right to cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, including low numbers or inclement weather etc. In these instances we would contact you at the earliest opportunity and you would be offered the choice of a space on an equivalent event (where available) or a full refund.
· We recommend supplying us with more than one contact detail, specifically a mobile number, so that we are able to contact you if necessary.
· Please be sure to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. All activities will be undercover with a short walk from the car park and from the Kingfisher Kitchen and Peng Observatory.
