A dozen Cattle Egrets

South Lake

Very attractive to the egrets today, probably due to the high winds, at least 12 Cattle Egrets present with a juvenile among them.

Hobby, 5 Green Sandpiper, 150+ Black-tailed Godwit, 6 Ruff including a juvenile, a few Redshank, flocks of Teal, Shoveler, Gadwall, Mallard and a few Tufted Duck and Pochard.

Middle Point

The Grey Paartridge again, a Grasshopper Warbler again reeling, on the Severn 2 immature Spoonbill, 15 Little Egret, juvenile Greenshank, 2 Turnstone, 7 Sanderling, 1 Knot, 93 Ringed Plover, 110+ Dunlin, 20+ Curlew, the Australian x Cape Shelduck hybrid with 130 Shelduck.
