Check out the Reedbed Walkway

This new walkway was stuffed with bird song this morning in glorious sunshine

The new Reedbed Walkway was stuffed with bird song this morning from at least five species of warbler, all bathed in glorious sunshine.

Reedbed Walkway
Five species of warbler can be heard with ease here this morning including the rich song of a Blackcap, the simple notes of the Chiffchaff song, the rythmic scratches and whistles of Reed Warbler compared to the loud and erratic scratches and whistles of the Sedge Warbler, all topped off with the explosive burst of Cetti's Warbler song.

A male Redstart was also feeding along the hedgerow - looking stunning in the morning sunshine.

The Dumbles is also filled with bird song, but nearly all is from the several male Skylark that hold territory here. A Peregrine was out on the southern cross fence. Several Lapwing are now on nests here too. A Green Sandpiper flew north towards Middle Point.
