Dunlin numbers creeping up daily

A Bittern appeared stop the reeds below the Zeiss Hide after noon, at least 17 Dunlin were on the wet mud with a Green Sandpiper and 90 Lapwing, 8 Redshank, plus Sand and House Martins, Swallows and Swifts (as seen from Estuary Tower).

Two Red Kite and 6 Buzzard circling the hay fields to North of the car park.

Rushy Hide

83 Black-tailed Godwit, single Redshank, 3 Avocet, adult and juv Grey Heron, a few Lapwing + Tufted Ducks and Gadwall.

Tack Piece

Juvenile Little-ringed Plover, 3 Green Sandpiper, 4 Lapwing and fledged juvenile Black-headed Gulls.

Bluethroat
