First juvenile Curlew Sandpiper of the year
Middle Point and Estuary Tower
As the tide came in a party of five juvenile Red Knot had our first juvenile Curlew Sandpiper of the year. Also of note was a very out of place Mandarin with a Mallard, an adult and juvenile Yellow-legged Gull was among the commoner gull species with 7 Dunlin, 18 Ringed Polover and 2 Common Sandpipers as well as the 170 Curlew. At least 15 Yellow Wagtail were among cattle on the Dumbles plus a Wheatear was on the Dumbles edge and another two at Middle Point.

43 Redshank, 193 Black-tailed Godwit, Spotted Redshank and 12 Ruff + Gadwall, Teal, Greylag flocks. Two Green Sandpiper were from Hogarht Hide.
