Two Little-ringed Plovers were on the scrape this morning along with around Golden Plover, many of which are in near summer plumage and looking great in the sunshine. Also seen here this morning were 26 Avocet, 24 Black-tailed Godwit, 4 Redshank, 21 Wigeon and a pair of Oystercatcher. Oakie from the Crane pair was sat on the nest whilst Sherbert took a break before chasing off another couple of birds. An unringed juvenile was also nearby, possibly Oakie and Sherbert's offspring from last year.
