Two Snipe were showing well from the Martin Smith Hide and the Water rail showing as well as ever at the Willow Hide. Lots of Barnacle Geese with the Bar Headed Goose among them and Whitefronts (125) in field to the north.

Great close up views of Redshank 17 and Ruff 18 sheltering from the wind. There were at least 10 Snipe on the west bank of the lower pond but just the single Bewicks Swan and around 40 Pochard remaining.
