Highlights for today included

The male Goshawk returned to the Top New Piece and caught a duck.

Drake Green-winged Teal still on the Top New Piece-viewed from the Zeiss Hide

Cattle Egret once again on the South Lake islands

8 Pink-footed Geese and the Russian White-fronted Goose flock fed in the Ox Piece (look to NE beyond Tack Piece)

Tack Piece

Very busy with birds, Oystercatcher and Black-tailed Godwit joined 45 Redshank, 22 Ruff, 157 Curlew, 600 Wigeon and a scattering of Teal, Pintail and Shelduck.

Estuary Tower

14 GBB Gull, 300 Wigeon, 100+ Pintail and 2 Curlew on the foreshore.

480 Wigeon, 6 Shoveler and 8 Pintail on the scrape, 300 Lapwing and 200 Dunlin on the Dumbles.
