South Lake
The female Goldeneye was showing well on the deep lake this lunchtime. The two Pink-footed Geese were here earlier, but then relocated to roadside fields on approach to visitor centre. The Black-tailed Godwit spent the day here along with 70+ Avocet.

Estuary Tower
Along with the Iceland Gull, the Dumbles was full of birds this morning as the tide rose and the Cattle Egret dropped in to the Pillbox Pool, before climbing the seawall and disappearing from view. The White-fronted Geese started their day on the Tack Piece, before being pushed off and then were on the Top New Piece (from the Zeiss Hide) this afternoon. Also from the Estuary Tower this afternoon was a male Merlin, whilst this morning a female Marsh Harrier drifted over the Tack Piece towards Estuary Tower.
