The pair of Little-ringed Plover have returned to the Rushy and were showing very well this morning, with the male doing his best to impress the female with some dance moves, tail waggles and nest scraping

The pair of Little-ringed Plover have returned to the Rushy and were showing very well this morning, with the male doing his best to impress the female with some dance moves, tail waggles and nest scraping.

South Lake
Waders on the wader scrape included 22 Avocet and a Little-ringed Plover. The pair of Great Crested Grebe were on the deep lake and the Oystercatcher is still nesting on the roof of the hide.

Zeiss Hide
There was no sign of the Temminck's Stint this morning but three drake Garganey were together at the north end of the scrape along with two Greenshank, 22 Avocet, 7 Shoveler, 11 Redshank, a Common Sandpiper and a pair of Teal. The Crane pair are still on the nest.

Robbie Garnett Hide
A quiet Tack Piece with just 3 male and 1 female Wigeon, 10 Gadwall, 10 Avocet and 2 Teal. Listen out for Yellow Wagtail and Whitethroat if you head down the Summer Walkway.

Rushy Hide
A pair of Little-ringed Plover were showing well again from the hide with the male displaying, dancing and nest scraping. The photo above captures one of the part of the display with the male kicking his legs high. This photo and more were shared with us by kensphotos987 on Twitter. Check them out here. On the lower pond were 18 Avocet and 2 Black-tailed Godwit.
