Sightings for the 29th of November

A lovely day today for birds today sightings included a Green-winged Teal and a Coal Tit.

Hogarth Hide

Single Fieldfare in the trees behind the hide and Snipe.

Grounds

A Little Egret was visible from the boardwalk from Decoy Hide.

Kingfisher Hide

12 Snipe on Four Score field, 2 Little Grebe, Fieldfare in the hedge and a Great Spotted Woodpecker and a Coal Tit on the feeders.

Estuary Tower

On the long Ground Pool there were 18 Teal, 22 Tufted Duck, 4 Gadwall, 5 Shoveler and a Pochard. On the Pillbox Pool there were 15 Wigeon and on the scrapes 14 Shoveler, 1 Dunlin, 38 Teal, 13 Wigeon and a Peregrine on the cross fence.

Zeiss Hide

From Zeiss hide there were 1409 Teal, 1 Green-winged teal, 475 Lapwing, 54 Dunlin, Peregrine, Buzzard, Water Rail, Ruff and a fox.

South Lake

From Discovery Hide there were 15 Snipe, 200 Lapwing, 5 Dunlin, 1 Spoonbill, 20 Pochard, 35 Tufted, 8 Shoveller, c100 Teal, 1 Great-crested Grebe and a Common Gull.

Robbie Garnett Hide

There were 421 Wigeon, 11 Ruff, 2 Snipe, 32 Redshank, 1 Buzzard, 589 Black-tailed Godwit, 108 Curlew, 40 Shoveler, 96 Pintail, c600 Teal and a mobile flock of Lapwing and Dunlin visible from Robbie Garnett Hide.
