Dragonfly Weekend
Join us on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th August 2025 to discover the secret world of dragonflies!
Take part in family-friendly activities such as pond dipping, discover our science hide, walk and talk with dragonfly experts, and get creative with dragonfly crafts. There will be stalls run by local wildlife and conservation groups and dragonfly art installations to explore.
Recognised as a dragonfly hotspot by the British Dragonfly Society, WWT Steart Marshes is home to 23 species of dragonfly. Discover the dragonfly species we have on site, including their lifecycle and why this wetland habitat is so important for them.
