Artist Nicola Bramley features in the gallery this September and October

Our gallery will be home to the work of Nicola Bramley this autumn, enjoy her work whilst you are in the visitor centre and find the perfect picture to take home.

Nicola's work will be on display in the gallery throughout September and October.

As an artist and zoologist fascinated by the natural world, the starting point for any of my pictures has always been field observation. Using drawing, painting and printmaking I record the world around me. I love wildlife picture making and living on the edge of Wicken Fen, Cambridgeshire, I am always surrounded by a rich and constant source of inspiration for my art.

Over the years, my work has involved private commissions from individuals and organisations (Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Bristol Zoo), illustration for wildlife publications as well as exhibition at local and national art events (Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Society of Wildlife Artists annual exhibition at Mall Galleries, London).

Using the natural world as inspiration, I have always enjoyed enabling others to draw, paint and print. As well as running successful art workshops for young people and classes for adults over many years, I have also more recently been lucky enough to work on several local community printmaking projects.
