We were so pleased to see Daisy Clarke arrive back at WWT Welney two weeks ago after her gruelling migration from arctic Russia.  It has been wonderful to follow her migration thanks to the technology of the GPS tag, catching up with her on migration through the Flight of the Swans project and then finally welcoming her back to her winter home at WWT Welney.  Daisy Clarke has been a revelation during this project - travelling 3,600 kilometres in just seven weeks!

We have pieced together the jigsaw puzzle of her migration in this blog post.  Find out about the amazing feats she overcame during her journey and why the network of healthy wetlands along the Bewick's swan flyway is so important here - One swan's incredible journey.

Looking at the weather forecast for this week, we could see more Bewick's swans arriving at WWT Welney, as the winds swing round to the north east tomorrow - exciting!!
