Migration in action
Late summer is an exciting time of year as thousands of birds journey South for the winter.
As with any long distance travel, they need to stop and have a rest as well as some food to keep energy levels high!
WWT Welney is the perfect place for them to drop in to, as the reserve team have been working hard to get the wetlands in tip top condition. Multiple hides provide the ideal spot for visitors to watch all the action, and with facilities within easy reach, it really is fantastic for people and wildlife alike.
