Michael’s future plans for the Mere Side cafe is to continue to please visitors by serving traditional English food. And we are thrilled to have him.  Visitors can take in the view from the cafe which over looks the lake whlist enjoying their meal. The cafe opens at 9.30am-4.30pm and we are now serving breakfast everyday from 9.30. Breakfast is a selection of pastries, toast or a hot bacon roll. The food changes from day to day and is all homemade. Today on the menu we have carrot and corriander soup, Devilled Chicken served with savoury rice, Steak pie with red wine gravy served with chips and vegetables, and a Broccoli & Cheese Bake served with chips and salad. We then have jacket potatoes with a range of fillings and a childrens option which is sausage, chips and beans. The prices range from £3.75 - £7.50.

We are now allowing the public to come and use the cafe Mid-week during term time without paying to come into the centre.
