The folly pond is again the place to be for waders this morning. Three little ringed plovers, three common sandpipers and a wood sandpiper were all feeding in the muddy margins. At last a bit of a respite from the constant rain of the last few days and the hedgerows are alive with young fledglings. Still two young barn owls in the nest loft, can't blame them for not leaving home in this weather.
