All aboard to Sail to Santa
On Dec 1 & 2 families can board an elf-driven boat to visit Father Christmas at WWT Arundel Wetland Centre. Decorated boats will take families on a trip through the reedbeds to the rustic Holt building. After posting a letter to Father Christmas children can enjoy a visit with the man himself and receive a goody bag! Children can also take a ride on a gentle Shetland ponies and create a Christmas craft to take home.
Families flocking to Arundel Wetland Centre now will see wintering birds and wildfowl returning to the reserve from northern and eastern Europe. Our gift store offers great ideas for Christmas shopping or why not book a photography course as the perfect present. The Wetland Discovery boat safari runs daily with the first boat at 11:00 and the last at 3:30pm.
Tickets for ‘Sail to Santa’ experience are £5 and include the boat ride, visit with Father Christmas and a goody bag. Booking is essential by calling 01903 881530. The ticket price does not include admission to WWT Arundel Wetland Centre which is a gift aid price of £5.45 per child, £9.10 concession and £10.90 per adult. WWT members are admitted free. The Shetland pony rides cost £3 per child per ride. Christmas Crafts are included in the admission price.
