Animal Magic Preparations
We are setting up this week for our annual Animal Magic Weekend, if you like your animals it's an amazing weekend where you will get the chance to get up close to Meerkats, Skunks, ferrets and birds of prey all from various organisations. We have been creating pens for animals from Windmill Animal Farm, a play area for the Meerkats and adding attitional signage to remind everyone how important it is to wash your hands after handling the animals.
Thank you for all your feedback on the play area designs, we will take all your comments into consideration and make changes. You can expect some final designs to be available within the next month or so.
Tonight I will be attending the Lancashire & Blackpool Tourism awards with Victoria Fellowes our Marketing Manager, Pete Bullen our Buildings Manager and one of the Canoe Safari Operators as we have been shortlisted for ‘Best Large Attraction’, ‘Best Visitor Experience (Canoe Safari)’ and Victoria up for ‘Making a difference to tourism’ award. I will let you know what happens. I even gave up an evening meal with Manchester United to attend so finger crossed it's good news!
