Whooper Pond

Our first Whooper Swan dropped into the Pond this morning. It stayed until around 10am then flew out towards the Solway. As it flew we could see it had a yellow ring but didnt get any letter from it.

Pink-footed Goose - a steady stream of birds flying south between 0800-1000 at least, didnt manage a count but was a good few hundred birds.
