Latest Sightings
Sightings from the 4th November have included:
- Less than 5,000 Brent are left on the Lough.
- 14 Whooper Swans seen on the Estuary.
- Peninsula Saltmarsh had 17 Grey Plover, 7 Dunlin, 12 Knot, 3 Curlew, 2 Redshanks, 2 Little Egrets and 20 Oystercatchers.
- Kingfisher spotted regularly on Main Lake and Fresh Water Lagoon.
- Kestrel seen hovering over Saline Lagoon.
- Small birds – 18 Twite seen on Saline Lagoon, 2 Mistle Thrush on Fresh Water Lagoon. Goldfinches, Tree Sparrows, Greenfinches, Chaffinches, Coal, Blue and Great Tits have been feeding on feeders outside shop and restaurant.
