Despite good coverage from the hides during the day and all likely places checked (including the Bottom New Piece) sadly there was no sign of the bird today.
Middle Point
Over high tide- 2 Turnstone, 67 Shelduck, 47 Ringed Plover, 73 Curlew, 2 Common Sandpiper and 13 Little Egret.
Estuary Tower
Hobby flew low N, flocks of feeding hirundines, Yellow Wagtail with the Cattle. 2 Green and 1 Common Sandpiper on Long Ground Pool.
Knott Hide
Still busy with warblers in the opposite hedge and reeds.

Tack Piece- Common Sandpiper, 2 Green Sandpiper, 55 Gadwall, 90 Teal, 3 Snipe, 14 Lapwing plus a Yellowhammer on the summer walkway hedge.
Hogarth Hide/South Lake
Two Green Sandpiper, possible Black Duck × Mallard hybrid.

41 Redshank, 12 Ruff, 234 Black-tailed Godwit, 84 Lapwing, Green Sandpiper + Shoveler, Tufted Duck, Teal, Gadwall and Greylag, 2 GC Grebe, 2 Cormorant.
Top New Piece/Zeiss Hide
PM Single Greenshank, 1 Green Sandpiper. 3 Avocet, 3 Ruff, 1 Snipe, 6 Cranes, 2 Buzzards. 1 Kestrel flock of Barnacle Geese.
AM- Water Rail squealing, 7 Ruff, at least 3 Garganey. Hobby and Peregrine over.
