Recent sightings - 15th April

The following sightings were recorded today by Toni Castello, warden, at low tide. The settlement of the spring is now a matter of fact. One of the first and stunning signs is the appearance of Cowslips. As their Latin name, Primula veris, indicates, they are among the "true" (veris) "first" (Primula) plants in flowering and decorating some of our grasslands.
