Recent sightings - 16th July
The following sightings were recorded today by Toni Castello, warden, at low tide. These days are marked by the progressive leave of the Black-headed gull colony. At the moment all the young have fledged, and have become to progressively explore the shores of Strangford Lough. Until they become stronger to perform longer flights, they will be chilling out quite a lot in our wadermarsh. There are extraordinary experiences waiting for them outside Castle Espie, until they come back next year.
