Recent Sightings - 1st July 2019

All the hot weather over the past week has made being out in the reserve a real joy; Butterflies and Burnett moths are becoming abundant and very active in the Brickworks grasslands. The young swallows are getting fattened up on all the insects flying around. You can often see them being fed by their parents whilst sitting on the bridges or fences around the reserve. And there is lots of diligent moth ducks watching over their ducklings on all of the lakes. How many Tufted Duck families can you see around our reserve? (Tufted duck pictured)
