Recent sightings - 20th March

The following sightings were recorded today by Toni Castello, warden, at low tide. The imminent arrival of the spring is showing lots of evidences about the site: There's quite a hectic singing activity and mating behaviour among the birds, and we have observed the first bumble bees, coincident with a more obvious presence of flowers. Our frog tadpoles are increasing their sizes as days pass, in a very discreet, constant and apparently healthy growth. There will be plenty of beautiful facts at Castle Espie in the forthcoming weeks, and you can join us to enjoy all of them!
