The following sightings were recorded today from the reserve at Castle Espie.
Estuary - visible from the Brent Hide and the Limekiln Observatory
8 Curlew, 7 Little Egret, 36 Black-headed Gull, 1 Herring Gull, 240 Oystercatcher
Main lake - visible from Sensory garden and Visitor centre
220 Mallard, 15 Black-headed gull, 3 Moorhen, 4 Coot, 10 Tufted Duck
Wadermarsh - visible from Wadermarsh lookout and Brent Hide
16 Teal, 4 Moorhen, 2 Black-headed gull
Freshwater Lagoon - visible from Brent Hide and Crannog
67 Mallard, 1 Coot, 1 Moorhen, 6 House Martins
Saline Lagoon - visible from Limekiln observatory
