Limestone grassland
A group of +20 Goldfinch were intensively feeding on our nice patches of Common Knapweed, which are becoming more and more abundant. The Knapweed seeds will contribute to the accumulation of fat in these birds, and of course will help them to go face the winter. This reinforces our perception about having progressive improvements in our grasslands. In turn, this encourages us a lot at this precise moment, when we are managing the grasslands through cutting and seeding. Hopefully our work will be fruitful and useful for all sort of beings!!
