Recent Sightings
High number of Shelducks with Brent on the Lough with 40 Dunlin seen on the Estuary. 110 Oystercatchers with 13 Dunlin seen on pier. The Peninsula Salt Marsh had 11 Redshanks, Shelducks, 1 Black-headed Gull and 14 Oystercatchers.
General – 25 Tufted Ducks, 1 Mute Swan, 15 Greylags, 2 Cormorants and 7 Gadwells on the Main Lake. Wader Marsh had 11 Black-tailed Godwits, 2 Bar-tailed Godwits, 1 Curlew and 4 Redshanks. Saline Lagoon had 3 Cormorants, 1 Little Egret, 1 Greenshank, 2 little Grebes and 2 Redshanks.
