Recent Sightings
Recent sightings from 1 September 2013 include:
- Main Lake – 26 Gadwall, 5 Teal, 2 Shoveler, 1 Pintail, 8 Wigeon and 2 Heron
- Estuary – 55 Bar Tailed Godwits, 1 Black Tailed Godwit, 30 Wigeon, 17 Teal, 3 Shoveler, 80 Curlew, 6 Ringed Plover, 2 Dunlin and 1 Grey Plover
- Wader Marsh – 1 Barnacle Goose, 17 Greylags and 1 Shelduck
- Saline Lagoon – 26 Oystercatchers, 2 Little Grebes and 1 Heron
- Fresh Water Lagoon – 1 Oystercatcher and 4 Mute Swans
- 17 Oystercatchers at Brickworks
- Rabbits
- Dragonflies spotted on the reserve – Common and Hawker
- Butterflies including Peacock, Large and Small Whites, Common Blues and Holly Blue
