Recent Sightings
Recent Sightings from 9 February include:
- Spoonbill is still around reserve, often appearing on the Wader Marsh
- A sparrowhawk was seen at the Fresh Water Lagoon where the Kingfisher also made an appearance
- Main Lake – 2 Cormorants, 12 Gadwall and 4 Tufted
- Peninsula Salt Marsh – 12 Turnstones, 18 Grey Plover, 10 Dunlin, 15 Oystercatchers, 20 Redshank, 7 Curlew and 160 Lapwing
- Limestone Lake – 1 Little Grebe
- Fresh Water Lagoon – 9 Tufted Ducks and 5 Mallards
- Male Kestrel at the Peninsula field, with 95 Oystercatchers and 18 Curlew
- Long Tail Tits and Goldfinches using feeders at the shop
