Spoonbill
A Spoonbill was new for the year but only very briefly present on Woodend Marsh late morning. It was probably the same bird which was later seen at Marshside.
Little Stint still present out on Woodend. Now 8+ Avocet chicks present with 40+ adults, 6 Dunlin, 6 Ruff, 4 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Ringed Plover, 20+ Lapwing, 4 Oystercatcher and Common Sandpiper.
More heard than seen Grasshopper Warbler was one of the few species caught on the Reed Bed this morning. The Reed Bed Walk is the best place to catch up with warblers on the reserve.
Due to incredibly low upload speeds today we can't wait any longer to upload the map. Do call in at the in focus shop to report any sightings or to find out were to see any of the 80+ species currently in the area.
