Sunny Saturday sightings
Chilly but with some blue skies today! Here's what's wild around the reserve today, spotted by WWT staff and volunteers:
Ramsar hide: Grey heron, tufted duck, gadwall, shelduck, shoveller, cormorant, Canada geese,little egret, lapwing
Scrape hide: grey heron, little grebe, teal, shelduck
Arun Riverlife: Tufted duck, pochard, shelduck
Reserve: kingfisher, blue, great & longtailed tits, bullfinch, dunnock, chaffinch, reed bunting, buzzard, water vole
A firecrest was seen around the hedgerows of the Tranquil Trail yesterday so keep a look out for him, see the video on our Facebook Page.
|A reed bunting was spotted feeding on the ground under the feeders in the Woodland Loop.
