Thank you to The Mileage Company
The Mileage Company kindly sponsored 100 children from St Margarets CofE Primary School in Warrington to come to Martin Mere today to do some fun activities including meeting the otters, creating their own wetland critter, see the swans and go wild on the play area. All the children were well behaved and they seemed to enjoy the day - we took some video footage of the kids so hopefully that will be available soon. Nick Chambers from The Mileage Company came along to see what the kids were up to and he seemed very please with the outcome - hopefully this will be the start of a long term project.
In other news I have been busy setting up for the Bird Fair and successfully found someone to to be our Office Manager during maternity cover - once she has started in early December I will ask her to write a profile for this diary and I am off to a Local Action Group meeting tonight for Lancashire to see what opportunities we have in the future.
