Migration has very much began here at Caerlaverock with a WOOD SANDPIPER coming in this morning onto the folly pond and showing well. May 2009 was the last wood sandpiper was recorded here, so this is a fantastic bird to come and have a look at.

Also the 5 LITTLE RINGED PLOVER are still on the and watching them today both of the juvenile birds have been ringed.  A single Ringed Plover is also on the Folly Pond with 1 Common Sandpiper.
