Estuary Tower
There are a few thousand waders close in to the riverbank this morning with the flock made up of Dunlin, Lapwing and Golden Plover. Also noted were 18 Curlew, 63 Shelduck, 12 Pintail, 25 Wigeon, and a Peregrine sat on mudflats. Duck on the Long Ground Pool included 54 Tufted Duck, 29 Shoveler and two Pochard, and one of the Great Egret was here again. A small flock of 114 Wigeon were on the Dumbles scrape.

Zeiss Hide
Duck were sheltering along the reedbed margins this morning and included 370 Teal, 267 Wigeon, 34 Pintail and four Gadwall. The White-fronted Goose flock have been very mobile so far this morning, firstly flying south over the Visitor Centre and settling in the Four Score field, viewed from the Kingfisher Hide. The flock of around 100 birds then flew past the Zeiss Hide heading north again, possibly to the Tack Piece or Goose Fields. In the Spinney near the hide were three Goldcrest and a Treecreeper with a Long-tailed Tit flock.

Grounds
A wild drake Goldeneye is with the collections birds on the Eider Pen.

South Lake
At least 134 Black-tailed Godwit were amongst the Lapwing flock this morning.

Rushy Hide
A count of 93 Bewick's Swans in for this morning's feed, plus 11 more birds over the hedge on the Tack Piece. Also on the Rushy were an Oystercatcher, 138 Shelduck, 76 Pochard, a Black-tailed Godwit with the Lapwing flock, 94 Pintail and the drake Mandarin.
