Sunday October 9th update

Little change from yesterday, with Barnacle and Pink-footed Geese in profusion within the fields and on the merses. The 27 Whooper Swans remain in the Northpark stubble near the approach road-end, just over a mile away. The Great Egret continues to alternate between The Folly Pond and Saltcot Merse. 2 Redwings today in The Avenue, along with 5 or so Chiffchaff and a couple of Treecreepers. 30 Linnets enjoying the wild bird cover crop at the Avenue Tower. Oh... and wall-to-wall sunshine...

Osprey Webcam

The winter webcam is now showing the Whooper Pond. The first few Whooper Swans have already shown up and later in the winter we enjoy the superb spectacle of up to 300 of them along with a variety of wild ducks and geese at feed times - 11:00 and 14:00 daily
