Whooper Swans are still operating just to the north of the reserve near the end of the approach road, about a mile from the centre here. These can just about be seen from The Farmhouse Tower and have increased from yesterday's 12 up to 19. They're coming! Barnacles Geese remain slow to arrive, with no apparent change from yesterday... yet. The Great White Egret continues to operate between Saltcot Merse and the Folly Pond

Osprey Webcam
The winter webcam is now showing the Whooper Pond. The first few Whooper Swans have already shown up and later in the winter we enjoy the superb spectacle of up to 300 of them along with a variety of wild ducks and geese at feed times - 11:00 and 14:00 daily
