Gallery Exhibition: Woodland Walks
Landscape artist Julie Hollis presents an exhibition of her work inspired by the walks she has taken with her Jack Russell Terrier through local woodlands. Now based in Kirkcudbright, a little way along the coast, Julie lived for many years just a few miles away from WWT Caerlaverock. Her work explores the effect of light changes on the trees, the minutiae of the woodland floor and the sense of calm that prevails when we are close to nature.
Exhibition on show in our gallery in the visitor centre. It is free to visit and open from 10am - 5pm daily.
